This space is also a refuge for wildlife. The park offers houses for red squirrels, endangered in most of England, and bird life provide the same bird the most eager-Watcher with an exciting day of spotting.

Nearby you will find sites Festival Holker, Cartmel Racecourse, and some of the finest walks in the Southern Lakes.
