Around this age, your child should be large enough to exceed the nursery. This is an indication that it is time for a bed for toddlers. However, the transition from a crib to a toddler bed may not be very smooth and easy for toddlers.
Here are some tips to make sure your toddler has a smooth transition from a crib to a bed:
- Ensure that the bed is very comfortable and welcoming.
- Leave toddlers decide on the most appropriate bed.
- Keep things that appeal to toddlers and toddler loves the bedside.
- Accustom your child's new bed by keeping it in front of the child for some time before actually using it.

- Place the toddler bed in the same position in your home as the nursery was.
